Description

Description

Zinc (Zn) insufficiency is a prevalent problem in plants, resulting in lower yields and nutritional quality, as well as the emergence of abnormalities. Zinc EDTA is a micronutrient fertiliser that contains Zinc in the form of EDTA and is fortified with the primary nutrients NPK. Zinc EDTA is a chelated zinc formulation for foliar spray in which organic molecules bind the nutritional cations in a ring-like shape. In order to bind Zinc, the chemical compound EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetra Acetic Acid) is utilised as a chelating agent. The purpose of the chelated product is to preserve the nutritional ion (Zn) in a soluble but stable form until it is absorbed by the root. EDTA ensures that zinc is readily available to plants, preventing Zn deficiency.
ZINC DEFICIENCY
• Plant development is restricted.
• This critical micronutrient cannot be taken up in sufficient quantities by the plant from its growth media.
• Chlorosis is a yellowing of the leaves that is frequently interveinal.
• Young leaves are the most affected in certain species, although both old and new leaves are chlorotic in others.
• Necrotic patches are areas of chlorosis when leaf tissue has died.
• Leaf bronzing – chlorotic regions may turn bronze in colour.
• Leaves are rosetting. Impaired stem elongation causes plant stunting and necrosis at the root apex.
Green Planet’s new product, “Power Plant ZINC EDTA 12 percent,” can help with these deficiency symptoms.
BENEFITS:
• It works well with other fungicides and fertilisers.
• Zinc enhances the synthesis of protein in plants by activating enzymes.
• Because it takes little energy for plants to absorb the nutrient, it is easily absorbed.
• Chelated zinc does not burn the leaves, but it does aid in the absorption of other nutrients.
• Because, unlike Zinc Sulphate, Zinc Chelate is somewhat systemic, it is easily translocated inside plants.
 DOSAGE : 0.5 gms/L of water
